Thomas Walters is an accomplished professional art educator, art historian and art critic. His bachelors degree in Art Education is from Atlantic Union College, where he concentrated in the arts of sculpture, drawing and ceramics. His masters degree in Art Education is from Andrews University with a concentration in Art History. He completed three full years at Ohio University, completed all his coursework toward a PhD in Comparative Arts (interdisciplinary studies in the arts)then went on to finish his PhD in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Art History. He completed three full years at Ohio University, completed all his coursework toward a PhD in Comparative Arts (interdisciplinary studies in the arts)then went on to finish his PhD in Biblical Studies with a concentration in Biblical Counseling from California Graduate School of Theology. His accomplishments include teaching the arts of painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, music, art appreciation, art history and comparative arts. He has exhibited his art works including wood sculpture, painting, drawing and ceramics in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Doctor Walters has two published books to his credit: "Balanced Counseling:Dynamic Spirituality" and "The Arts: A Comparative Approach to the Arts of Painting, Sculpture, Architecture, Music and Drama"
