I am an instructor (and coordinator) at the Counter Vandalism Unit Academy (or CVUA). This means that I teach new vandal patrollers how to identify and deal with vandalism... and a whole lot more! I have developed a program which covers all of the basics of anti-vandalism and some more which you will come across around Wikipedia. I am happy to adapt this where necessary for users with experience in some areas, or where a user wishes to focus on a specific area (for example a specific counter-vandalism tool).

Each person I tutor will get their own "Academy" page, where I will keep updates on the progress of their course. I will use that page provide lessons and give tasks to users I tutor to help them develop their anti-vandalism skills. Once a user has completed the course, I will give them five days, during which I will monitor their activity; at the end of this time, I will administer a test. If there are no major problems during the monitoring phase and they are successful at the test, the user will graduate (yippee!).

All CVUA enrollees are welcome to use the following user box during their instruction - {{User CVUA|enrollee}}.

As well as this program, I will offer whatever extra support is required to those I teach. I always welcome users raising questions or problems at my talk page and will do my best to address them. Once a user has graduated, I am still completely happy to give them all the advice and/or support that they need.

Current students

Note: I have stolen all of the CVUA stuff from ItsZippy, and will change it as I go to suit my "style" - thanks, Zippy!
