The Z UKBG
For those of you who may not have the Eurostile font, the signature will not be in the intended font (as in the UKBG part of the image on the right).
Hi and thanks for visiting!
I'm reasonably new here as a user, but have been reading and editing Wikipedia for quite a while. I still go to secondary school, and Wikipedia has proved such a valuable resource to me, that I want to give something back to this massive online community.
My aims as a user:
Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not considered the most reliable or credible source of information (however well-aggregated and -balanced it is), and I would like to see that change, and for Wikipedia to become a reliable resource of accurate information, which can be 99% trusted by everyone and a free, open and more detailed encyclopaedia than anything else currently on offer.
If you want to know more about me, contact me via my talk page or email/message me.
Yes, my userbox isn't good at the moment, but I'll read about and improve it soon (as well as organising userpages).
/Sandbox -- current work
/Mobile Phone Charger -- work on a new main article for this
/Archive -- stuff that used to be in Sandbox
If you would like me to translate this page into Bulgarian, French or Spanish, don't mind asking me (i'd be surprised if you do).
Also, if you require any Bulgarian <> English services, don't be afraid to ask, since, as long as I have the time, I love to help.
I studied at Dulwich College, South London from 2003 to 2010, where I had a scholarship.
I studied Economics, Maths, French and Physics for my A-levels. I studied French up to AS level and dropped it to focus on my engineering path. I will, however, continue to practice it as much as I can and will resume learning it in the future.
I studied the following subjects to IGCSE/ GCSE level: Maths, French, English (+ English literature (separate GCSE)), Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and DT (Design and Technology).
I applied to study Aero and Auto engineering at several top UK universities ( University of Bristol (Aero), University of Southampton (Aero), University of Bath (Auto), University of Sheffield (Aero) and Loughborough University (Auto)). Sadly, I was denied the opportunity to apply to the University of Cambridge, seeing as I would have met the offer requirements. The two choices of university I settled for were Bristol as my firm choice and Loughborough as my insurance choice. Happily, I exceeded the requirements of my offer from Bristol and have been accepted there.
The car industry and aircraft. I also have a general interest in how anything and everything works, so Wikipedia is extremely valuable to me in that respect.
I'm also interested in graphic design (I spend part of (the little) free time I have designing and animating presentations and icons, doing the usual amusing and design things in Photoshop and making short films, etc.), as well as TV and film graphics (both idents and vfx). I make some music and sfx too.
I also dabble in the world of web design and programming.
I do rowing as well as Kuk Sool Won.
Skiing is by far my favourite sport.
I am a Chelsea supporter. I support CSKA Sofia in Bulgaristan.
Of course, the most important things in life to me are my family and my friends, all of whom I enjoy spending time with.
I hate cheese (except for mozzarella (though only when cooked and with a tomato-based sauce)).
If I'm feeling down, some good music or a comedy show/programme/film will pick me up.
I will soon (if I get more time) begin reorganising my userpage.
The steps I will take are as follows:
My activity is usually in bursts - lots of WikiWork for a week, then a couple of days of nothing (I am quite busy nowadays).
If you would like me to translate this page into Bulgarian, French or Spanish, don't mind asking me.
Also, if you require any Bulgarian <> English services, don't be afraid to ask, since, as long as I have the time, I love to help.
Any French > English help required - don't hesitate to ask.
By the way, the languages I put down at 0 level in Babel is because I can sort-of understand them when I read written text, due to similarities with other languages that I know and learn.
I apologise to say that I write strictly in British English (the only real English), only unless I am writing for an article about or relating to another English-speaking country ( USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, RSA, India, etc.), in which case I will defect and write in the local variant.
