Monday Ubani, (born 27 July 1964) [1] is a Nigerian lawyer and human right activist. [2] Ubani serves as a Special Adviser to the Senate President Godswill Akpabio. [3]
Ubani was a former second vice president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja branch, and Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Developmental Law (NBA-SPIDEL). [4] [5]
Monday Ubani [6]graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a degree in law in 1989. He attended the Nigerian Law School and was admitted to the Nigerian bar in 1990. In addition, he holds a master's degree in law (LLM) from the University of Lagos.
In 2021, Ubani was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree for Leadership and Advocacy from Kingdom Life Bible College And Seminary International and the African Centre for Christian Education and Chaplaincy Studies. [7]
