Pippermint's sire St. Mirin was imported from England, where he finished second to Ormonde in the St. Leger Stakes. [1]

Retirement and Stud Career

In 1903, after being retired from racing, George Attucha sold Pippermint to NAME Piccione for ₤10,000. [2]

Pippermint had some success as a sire. In 1932, Pippermint led the Argentine broodmare sire list, and he was second on the Chilean general sire list in 1913/1914. [3]
