I first encountered Wikipedia sometime in mid-
2005 on a
Google search. I do not remember what I was searching for, but I found a very early version of the article on
Green Day, which at that point was short and full of
red links. I registered on Wikipedia on
December 10, 2005 in order to create articles on
characters in a series of
alternative indie comics. I didn't know at that time, but it was a blatant violation of
notability, and possibly a
conflict of interest too, as I personally knew the creative team and had been loosely involved myself (I didn't create an article on my character,
Zapatista-Man). I accidentally started
seriously editing after only a few days, mostly arguing on
talk pages and
copyediting at first. I first created a userpage on April 13, 2006. I'm now involved in a wide variety of articles, pertaining to my interests and studies.
I am a recovering
grammar nazi. I am a writer and, at current, a student of
editing; subsequently, such activities are natural to me. If copyediting is needed, I will more than likely be able to help.
This user is a strong supporter of the
LGBT community, and sees nothing wrong with being queer.
This user opposes
gun control for civilians but supports gun control for the
military and
police forces and thinks gun ownership by anyone is a Bad Thing.
I agree to release my text and image contributions, unless otherwise stated, into the
public domain. Please be aware that other contributors might not do the same, so if you want to use my contributions under public domain terms, please check the
multi-licensing guide.
