We propose that Wikipedia may issue certificates to volunteers who creators whose page views are more than 10,000. This is to encourage the good work and recognize the contributions.
To inspire more users to create web pages, you may give different gradings: 1. 10,000 : Silver 2. 50,000 : Gold 3. 100,000 : Diamond
The certificate with a badge which can be displayed on linked in will be useful for contributors. I have contributed the creation of wiki on Lateral Computing which has around 50,000 page views.
Also, the citations for the Wiki page should be visible for the authors on their google scholar similar to papers published in conference and journals.
