Stephen A Field is a London barrister by profession but is engaged in a literary/travel project at the moment, entitled "Bibliotrek". Bibliotrek analyses classic works of fiction by reference to the locational narrative within the novel It then redraws the map of the world, including hsitorical and fictional locations and plotting various characters' and authors' travels, discovering unexpected "meetings" in wonderful places!

An example would be a fictional character (e.g. Phileas Fogg in the 1873 novel, Around the World in 80 Days) being "placed" in a visualised setting in the Gare de Lyon in Paris, for example, meeting with a real life author (e.g. Ernest Hemingway in the 1920s) where their paths "crossed", albeit some 50 years apart. Such a meeting could be reproduced by actors at the location, but the scenario is capable of truly "existing" in the mind.
