The article is well structured but I believe there should be section the discusses and focuses on the environment impacts of legacy pollutants. This section should also include the health hazards as well. They were mentioned briefly in other sections but it’s an important topic to discuss. One strength of the article is that it goes into detail the different sites where legacy pollution is occurring.

The article is well balanced. It does not get off topic while examining the effects of the different types of cited where legacy pollutants occur. It is well written and easy to read. The article flows through the different information discussed in each section.
