Sonreír(se) is the Spanish verb for "to smile." The command form of this verb is sonría. This seemed to be a really unique username, but the accented "i" had to be dropped in order to be completely web compliant. Accents are significant in Spanish, so sonria is not a proper word, but it makes for an excellent username. It is also easily reversed to airnos, which is a long way from being a proper word -- in either English or Spanish -- but is still quite easy to pronounce.

Please note that the correct pronunciation is "sohn-REE-ah," not "SAHN-ree-ah."

Frankly, the coverage of employee benefits related topics on Wikipedia is terrible. I'm starting with HSAs as I was asked to do, but I'm probably going to be working on a lot of different topics in that area. Special requests are more than welcome.

About

I’m a divorced, thirtyish female living and working in Atlanta, Georgia.

I was born in Indianapolis but I grew up in Pitt County, North Carolina, and I still frequently get teased about my accent. I graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Math in 1992 and moved to the Research Triangle area in 1998. I moved into Raleigh proper in the spring of 2001 and then to Atlanta in July 2006.

Since late 2004, I have been an employee benefits professional with professional employer organizations; I was employed by one in Raleigh prior to securing my current position in Atlanta. Prior to that, I spent nine years with the State of North Carolina, eight of which were in human resources.

In my off-hours, I enjoy photography, reading and creative writing. I’m a cradle Catholic who left the Church in my mid-teens but came back and was confirmed, using the adult rite, at the age of twenty-seven. I’m also a flaming and unapologetic pro-life liberal. I suffer from severe and permanent mental illness; however, I am among the 90% of mental illness patients who can be successfully treated with medication and lifestyle adjustments.

I've recently realized that the time has come for a career change. Part of this realization means I'm going to likely become more active on Wikipedia. Stay tuned for more information.
