Option 1

Article Title
Jose Coll y Cuchi
Article Evaluation: Overall, the article is well-written. Though, there is definitely a lack of content. The opening paragraph only mentions in a tagline who he was without giving note to anything significant that he did in his life. The Early History paragraph is also very short, giving little insight into why he founded the party. Fortunately, the sections on his political life and the founding of the nationalist party sections are much more in-depth. Jose Coll y Cuchi is very relevant to the work we are doing in class as he was both the founder of the Nationalist Party of Puerto Rico and was good friends with, from our readings, Pedro Albizu Campos.

Option 2

Article Title: Tabaqueros
Article Evaluation: Non-existent article. There currently doesn't exist an article about cigar-makers in the 1910s/1920s in New York, specifically the latinx cigar-makers. There is an article titled "Puerto Ricans in New York City" which has a section about Tabaqueros. However, that section can most definitely be expanded on to become an entire article.

I found quite a few sources looking at latinx cigar makers during this period, specifically in Brooklyn as referred to in our course readings by Bernardo Vega:

Option 3

Article title: Prisoner 13
Article Evaluation:
Article is lacking in pretty much every regard. It seems to basically be a short summary of the plot of the movie but has no mentions of the cast, doesn't have any sources to it, doesn't have any images from the film, and doesn't talk about the impact/importance of the movie. This article could be good because (1.) it relates to the course-content as it is about the Mexican revolution and the history behind it through film and (2.) there seems to be a few sources online that have information about the film, making it more notable.
