Biography
“Who do you want to be?” The question which is posed to every child when they r growing up. That question arose in front of me too. Without even the slightest uncertainty, I would reply, “A photographer!” And my answer would only leave a sarcastic smile on the face of the questioner. To own a good camera was the dream of that child. A dream that I still hold dear…. During that period I would often ask my relatives for an SLR camera. And after 7 years they gave in to my constant pressure. A worn out, old camera – the very first camera that I got in my life. Later on, most of the gifts I got from friends were camera accessories. After completing my pre-degree, the same classic question was posed to me, once again. “Engineering or Medicine?” I made it clear that I want to pursue Fine Arts. My mother, who first discovered the artist in me, when I was a child, encouraged me to take part in many painting competitions and enrolled me in art camps. This enabled me to easily pass the entrance exam of RLV Fine Arts College, Thrippunithura, Kochi. Photography was one of the subjects in their curriculum. There I learnt that camera was not a ‘trick’ but its an art! Capturing the different personalities of people fascinated me. Each person has beauty. Finding it and catching their different moods thru my camera lens became my passion. The joy I saw on their face when they saw these pictures, inspired the photographer in me. The Inital phase was rough. " I had no professional eperience, so I didn't get a lot of assigments in the beginning. I approached many people to polish my photography skills for internship but no one came forward. finaly I did the first portfolio for a dear friend in Bangalore(2010). Through these pictures my name started booming out in the fashion industry. What I saw through my lens translated into compliments and more opportunity came knocking at my door.
By 2013 my camera eyes have captured the various emotions of many movie stars, Film makers, professional models and other famous personalities. And today I proudly present the world from my perspective through the eyes of my camera lens.

Second prizewinner in the National level competition conducted by ICCW, in 1998. Received the Cash Award & Scholarship from Hon.President of India, at New Delhi.
Three times Gold Medal winner in the state level competition conducted by "UNIVERSAL ARTS".
First Prizewinner in the state level competition conducted by Kerala Forest and Wild Life Department.
First Prize in state level competition conducted by Jaycees.
“KALA PRATHIBHA” in the Youth Festival Painting Competition.
Two times GOLD MEDALwinner in the Indian Youth Association Painting competition. Second prize winner in the University Union Art festival of Kannur University.v
