The Exotic Canadian Moose is a breed of moose living throughout Canada. Coincidentally*, the edge of the Exotic Canadian Moose's habitat lines up exactly with the borders of Canada. Not to be confused with the Common American Moose, the Exotic Canadian Moose lives solely on a diet of maple syrup and poutine (and poitin), and lives in the freezing tundra, which also conveniently lines up with the borders of Canada. The Exotic Canadian Moose's antlers have small bioluminescent bulbs growing on the prongs, somewhat resembling Christmas lights. The moose uses these to communicate with its very close cousin, the Exotic Canadian Caribou, which is not to be confused with the Foreign Russian Reindeer. The bulbs are used to light the runway of Father Christmas, or Santa Clause, which is located in the northern reaches of Canada. The Exotic Canadian Moose is preyed upon by polar bears, wolves, grizzly bears, black bears, cougars, pumas, lynxes, mountain lions, hoop-snakes, and, most notably, humans.

Relationship

There is an intriguing mutual symbiotic relationship between the Exotic Canadian Moose and the Frolicking Arctic Narwhale. The Moose will carry the Narwhales over the vast tundras between pockets of arctic ocean waters, cradling them in their antlers. In return, the Narwhales use their impressive tusks to fend off any approaching polar bears. The Exotic Canadian Moose will also, on occasion, rescue seal pups from hunting polar bears. When a Moose twirls its antlers in a particular fashion, the flashing lights will confuse a polar bear and leave it stunned and paralysed. This effect is similar to that of a deer in the headlights. The polar bear is then open to the powers of suggestion, and the Exotic Canadian Moose can force the hypnotized bear to do whatever in pleases. There have been reported sightings of bull Mooses gathering vast groups of mesmerized polar bears, sometimes 200 strong, and organizing them into a dance routine in an effort to impress the does.

The Exotic Canadian Moose is a fascinating and unique animal, but sadly, is very close to extinction. With the arctic ice sheets and tundra retreating with global warming, the Mooses are dying out. Some studies, though, suggest that there is an amphibious strain of these Mooses developing. These amphibious Exotic Canadian Mooses, sometimes referred to as Exotic Amphibious Canadian Mooses, have webbing between the two halves of their cloven hooves, and their tails are long and sinuous, similar to those of alligators and crocodiles, that they use to power themselves through the water. Gills also seem to be developing under their jawlines and withers.
