Early life
Abdul Salam was born in an aristocratic Muslim family at Kaladi Panchayat Malappuram of Kerala on 20 May 1973. He did his schooling from Kadanchery Govt. High School & higher studies from MES College Ponnani, under University of Calicut.
After his studies, he left India in 1993 to United Arab Emirates, when he was 20 years old, he started to work as Accountant for Fibre Glass division in a Multinational firm, M/s Speedhouse Group of companies, Ajman. He has been promoted as Asst. Production Manager after successful completion of 2 years of service in the firm.
His commanding, planning capabilities and thorough knowledge about the fibreglass industry led him to be as Production & Marketing Manager within 5 years.
With his capability and the experience in the fibreglass Industry, he established Polychem group of Industries into one of successful leading companies in the industry today.

Polychem Middle East LLC is one among the leading companies of Fibreglass raw materials.
It is the pioneers in composite industry ever since 1998 under the leadership of Abdul Salam along with Santosh Kumaar.
The group has grown into an international group with operations spread over three countries i.e., UAE, India and China.
Today, they are indeed proud to say that they have come a long way in exporting their products to 35 countries in the world!! The business was soon expanded to products that are industry related categories.
Later on, the group also diversified into different sectors where they established about 20 Medicals and Pharmacies under ‘Medsphere Healthcare Investments’ all over UAE.
Recently they also diversified and invested into service sector industry of consultation in finance and law.
