DS Wilhelm Huth is a steamsip built in 1901 as a sea survey vessel by the Norge Kartverket (Norwegian Mapping and Cadastre Authority) in "Akers mechanical Workshop" in Kristiania ( Oslo). [1]
The ship was named in the honour of Heinrich Wilhelm von Huth (da), who made a hydrographic survey in Norway, that was later expanded into Denmark and [[Holstein], North Germany. the change of names is shown below [2]:
