Defense of the Ancients (Dota) is an online multiplayer game previously known as Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. The objective of the game is to destroy opponents Ancient before the other team does the same. Both teams contain 5 powerful Heroes with different abilities and tactics along with AI-controlled fighters that re-spawn every 30 secs. Killing opposition units, heroes and structures grants gold that is used to buy items during the match.

Dota offers multiple hero categories that includes Support, Durable and Carry in major, which can be sub categorized as Nuker, Disabler, Jungler, Escape, Pusher, Ganker and Initiator.
