I registered as a Wikipedia User on the 10 August 05. I am very enthusiastic about the philosophy of open source projects such as this, but believe it important (in fact, essential) also to be open about who those of us who contibute and edit it are, rather than hiding behind an anonymous user name, as many do. What I'd like to see develop is a "nonymous" (not just open source) community, and society at large, in which one can see who is contributing and who is taking what.

This is not the only Roger Hicks; he has a far higher opinion of Wikipedia than I. www.rogerandfrances.com
