My name is Roberto Waha (I don't like nicknames very much), I was born in
Milan, on July, 22nd 1976 (it was raining...) and I'm 3/4 Milanese and 1/4 German. I like to define myself ironically a "well-integrated second-generation immigrant"!
I live in an ancient
"corte" house, guest of 4 (four) beautiful
cats, in the middle of a city park not far from the
Linate Airport.
I work as
EMT (even if in Italy is a non-job, since we are qualified as simple workers!) on SOS Lambrate (
[1])
ambulances, even if I'm a bioinformatician, also working with a part-time grant at the Policlinico Hospital in Milan, where I take care of constructing and running an International Registry for Rare Bleeding Disorders (
[2]) and a Registry for
Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (
[3]).
I collect and restore ancient computers and I love "apples": there's a lot of them on my old computers! :-)
I sing in a couple of choirs and I'm very fond of ancient music.
I'm also very fond of anything concerning the history, traditions and dialect (or better language) of
Milan.
