If you feel that I have reverted an edit or issued a warning in error, please click here and let me know. I am human: I make mistakes. Please don't interpret an error (even a really stupid one) on my part as a personal attack on you. It's not, I promise. But please do bring it to my attention - provided one is not being condescending, I am always open to civil discussion.
Now, that said, I have the right to withdraw from any situation that is escalating or uncomfortable without giving a reason or justifying myself, and to take further action through permissible means. (See
this policy.) Do not construe this as agreement with whatever position you have espoused, whatever snide remarks you have made, or whatever abuse you are heaping upon me. My withdrawal is nothing more nor less than a statement that I have better things to do and an attempt on my part to follow the age-old aphorism that one should never argue with a fool. Thank you.

This template is meant to allow people to conveniently use the Unicode emoticons. It is used by using {{emote|xxx}}, where "xxx" includes the unicode number or text shortcut.
The names from the mouseover text above work if used directly, and usually if condensed to a key word ("grinning" or "unamused" for example). The templates involving the cat have shortcuts like "cat wry", "heart-shaped" is abbreviated to "heart", "open mouth" is usually omitted, closed = "tightly-closed eyes". Look at the source (or add your own shortcut) if your first try doesn't work.
One parameter "color" is accepted. The template doesn't take a size parameter because it displays text which can easily be resized with <big>. Usually, to avoid disrupting the flow of lines with oversized icons, it's best to put up with a small size or, preferably, use them in headers.
This template isn't meant to work with images like in
Template:Like and
Template:Dislike do. The goal is to blend seamlessly into the normal processing of text.
This template embeds one emojus based on a textual description, the way that desktop applications like Discord specify them. So, for example, {{emojus|thinking}} is 🤔. This is a work in progress.
