In addition to enhancing existing articles with interesting tidbits not widely known, I try to build out content to balance out the focus on the Western World focused frame of reference. This may include uplifting and creating articles related to people, culture and history of Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
This can be relatively challenging due to there being relatively fewer pieces of evidence existing from these places due to weaker institutions and record management practices, and sources of information available to an English speaker.
I'm not a paid editor, I do not receive compensation for nor have I been tasked by any employers to edit Wikipedia articles.
