The Special Tactics and Rescue Service or "S.T.A.R.S." is a fictional elite police unit featured in the Resident Evil games. S.T.A.R.S was founded under the jurisdiction of the Raccoon City Police Department to deal with increasing terrorism and crime. ^[1] S.T.A.R.S. consist of two teams, Alpha and Bravo each consisting of 6 members. ^[2]
