X Media Lab began at the Sydney Opera House in June 2003. As at 2010, over 40 XML events have been held in 13 cities: Beijing, Mumbai, London, Sydney, Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Suzhou, Auckland, Wellington and Los Angeles. [4]
