I'm really not all that interesting but here are the basic facts:
I seem to be addicted to editing the
William Rivers page. I'm a great admirer of his and think that he deserves recognition for all that he did. I've also recently adopted the
Henry Head page as I felt that the three line biography it had been previously was a tad on the short side
My favourite book (at the moment) is
Mary Barton. This and
Elizabeth Gaskell's Ruth are two of the most undervalued works in literature
I am rather keen on Victorians with questionable sexualities
When I'm not on this website you can find me slaving away, trying as hard as I can to forget the eight million essays I have due in the next day... Currently at
Somerville College, Oxford
I am reading English Language and Literature at university- this is pretty useful as I can't read very well in any other language
Having said that, I used to enjoy Latin because the Romans amuse me (it's as good a reason as any)
I love all things satirical and am firmly of the belief that
Oscar Wilde was reborn into
Stephen Fry's body. I love them both
