I was born in 1972 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I graduated from Saint Petersburg Polytechnical University in 1995 majoring in Solid-state physics. While in the University, I discovered Free Software, and decided to work in IT rather than in physics. In 1999, I moved to the United States. I live in Irvine, California and work at Blue Origin developing flight software for New Glenn. I'm not an active editor; my edits are mostly small uncontroversial fixes. Yet I'm an avid user and enthusiast of Wikipedia. Wikipedia helped me improve my English and keeps improving my knowledge of just about everything.
