The Tleson Painter was an anonymous Attic black figure vase painter active from about 555 to 535 B.C. He is considered one of the Little Masters.
It is unknown whether the Tleson Painter is identical to the potter Tleson, from whom his conventional name is derived. All works attributed to the painter are signed by the potter, but not all works by the potter were decorated by the painter.
Typical of his work are Lip Cups decorated with animal figures such as roosters, hens, rams, and deer. He also known to have decorated Band cups and Kylixes.
