Payton Teagan (Born 3/18/97) is an American Social Media Influencer and Fashion marketer. Notable for her work through Instagram and Twitter, she has a following that skyrocketed her to notoriety for her high concept looks and her familial relation to her cousin, Pyper America ^[1]. Her Instagram was hacked in July of 2017, resulting in the loss of her 17,000 followers. She re-activated ^[2] under a new username in October the same year. She is recognizable for her distinct sense of style, part of which she creates herself.

Early Life Information

Payton Teagan was born in Azusa, California, where she attended primary school and high school with her cousin, Pyper America. The two graduated in 2015, before moving to New York to attend Parsons School Of Design as a fashion marketing major.

Career Information

Teagan began her education in New York at Parsons School of Design. She worked a side job at Mac Cosmetics during her freshman year. When she reopened her instagram account, she used it to further develop her fashion image, working with her classwork to create a distinct aesthetic.

Controversy Information

In July of 2017, under social pressures and harassment from hackers, Teagan closed her account and tried to reconnect with her life outside of the computer. The culprit of the hack ^[3] was never found, however in a recent interview, Teagan mentioned that she was seeking the people responsible ^[4]. There was a fake post from her account mentioning issues related to social media, in which she claimed to be deleting the account due to social pressures. In an age where technology’s role in society becomes more apparent, multiple issues of Cyberbullying, Suicide, and attacks from Internet Trolls have affected millions of people across social media ^[5]. This claim however, turned out to be false.
