From Danny Weiss:
Hi Paul, Thanks for getting in touch. I somehow misplaced your orig email on my computer (but fortunately still had it on my phone??) — anyway I checked out you article on Wikipedia… thanks for the interest and effort. I made some corrections/additions/rearrangings to what you have (down below in red) if you want to edit/update the article — Feel free to use any of this that seems worthwhile. I’d guess I’d cut that #6 link… it’s all pretty out of date.
I’m also adding a few links and attaching a few things that might be of interest…. THANKS again.. wish we could have made that video too. All the best, Danny

Skyline (musical group)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Skyline was a newgrass group active in the late 1970s through the 80's headed by Tony Trischka. The band consisted of Tony, Danny Weiss on guitar and vocals, Dede Wyland on guitar and vocals, Larry Cohen on bass, and Barry Mitterhoff on mandolin. They were a major proponent of the "newgrass" sound, known for jazz-infused riffs and extensive use of harmony in their singing. Their first album, Late to Work (Flying Fish 261) was released in 1981, followed by Stranded in the Moonlight in 1984 (Flying Fish) and then Skyline Drive in 1986 (Flying Fish 388). [2] In the last year and a half of their career Dede Wyland was replaced by Rachel Kalem on keyboards and vocals.[1] released their final album, Fire of Grace (Flying Fish 479) in 1989. In 1998, Flying Fish released a highlights collection CD called Ticket Back: A Retrospective (FF 664-CD) with cuts from all four previous projects and 2 new recordings.[3] Skyline toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Great Britain and across the European continent and were one of the first American bluegrass bands to perform in Japan and Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic). They appeared at every major bluegrass and folk festival, including Telluride, Winfield, Grey Fox, Winterhawk, Kerrville Folk Festival and hundreds of clubs and concert venues.
Currently, members of the old Skyline band continue to perform individually in a variety of bands and projects, as well as together in various configurations.[4] Danny, Larry and Barry performed as Silk City,[5] a band named after an old nickname for Paterson, New Jersey. The band was active around 2000-20010[6] before Barry left to join Hot Tuna and they still continue to perform together on occasion, which sometimes includes Tony. Silk City released a CD on Sliced Bread Records in 2000 called Time. References

Aboutmovies,
I came upon your user page via your recent edit of William Barton Rogers. I like your attitude toward WP, as evidenced in your Wikiterpretation™s. I'd like your advice. I don't edit an enormous amount, but I pay a good deal of attention to those articles I do edit. The most important article I edit is Frederick Douglass, and I mostly stick to the sections on his early life and the lede. (I live 2-3 miles from the site of his grandmother's cabin, where he was probably born.)
The article is long, and rambling, and frequently the target of editors with a particular agenda (and then there are the edit wars over what year he was born, which he did not know, and of which there is no record). The article is currently rated B-class and a level-4 vital article. I would like to move it toward being a good article, but the task is a bit overwhelming (as is, currently, my personal life). Any suggestions you would have as to how to approach this goal, and how to break it up into small, manageable pieces I could tackle in an hour or three each weekend would be, by me, greatly appreciated.
