Since May 2021, I am paid to work in the communications department of the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (RCC) in Munich. The RCC is a non-profit institution, and a joint initiative of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Deutsches Museum. The RCC is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The RCC is an interdisciplinary research institute in the environmental humanities and social sciences. I consider the improvement of Wikipedia articles from the fields of the environmental humanities, and of environmental history in particular, as one of the responsibilities of my position.
