Robert Dilger ( Military Officer)

Robert Dilger Xenia Ohia, Born 1934, served as a fihter pilot, squadron commander and procurement officer. Noted for bold aggressive tactics in Vietnam, he had far lower casualties then other squadrons. While serving as a procurement officer, he innovated in procurement and dramatically reduced the cost of the A-10 Cannon shell, the GAU-8 by 10X. He was subjected to early retirement and became a consultant and inventor, unsuccessfully trying to market to the Pentagon new low cost weapon systems.
