The protagonist in John Varleys novel Rolling Thunder is send to Europa by an organization similar to the USO and tours most of the moons. The Moons on the tour mentioned by name are Europa, Io, Ganymede, Callisto, Ananke, Carme, Pasiphaë, Callirrhoe, Taygete, Eukelade, Harpalyke, Amalthea, Sinope. Metis is also mentioned but not visited.
