Preliminary review templates

1. For general GNG: “Your article has received a preliminary review by a member of the New Page Patrol (NPP), and as it exists now the following issue needs to be remedied. Failure to do so could result in the article being sent to draft, redirected to an appropriate target, or deleted. The article might be notable, but you need in-depth coverage from independent, reliable, secondary sources. While there is no set number, at least three is a safe amount, and currently your article does not meet the minimum, and therefore the article does not meet WP:GNG.”

Absent that, since this appears to be a populated place, it might meet WP:GEOLAND if you could provide a source which shows that it is a legally recognized populated place. Usually the best source for this is a link to the entry in a government census.”

This person might be notable, but please understand that WP:NFOOTY is no longer a valid SNG, so GNG must be met. While there is no set number, at least three is a safe amount.”

For articles which have large portions of uncited material, but are otherwise notable: “Your article has received a preliminary review by a member of the New Page Patrol (NPP), and as it exists now the following issue needs to be remedied. Failure to do so could result in the article being sent to draft, redirected to an appropriate target, or deleted. While the subject appears notable, there are significant portions of the article which are unsourced/poorly sourced. As per WP:VERIFY, all information on WP should have have valid sourcing." -- Not talking about articles which need 2 or 3 citations, but where articles have more than 50% of their article unsourced.

For articles with references which do not include enough information (for example, refs to books or pdfs without page numbers, or enough information to find the book, or a ref which simply says - "New York Times, 1917"): "Your article has received a preliminary review by a member of the New Page Patrol (NPP), and as it exists now the following issue needs to be remedied. Failure to do so could result in the article being sent to draft, redirected to an appropriate target, or deleted. While it may be notable, there is not enough information in sources to pass WP:VERIFY. Please see WP:CIT to see what information should be included."
