To start, Primary sources in a nutshell would be a source that is from or is first-hand, example: A photograph from the exact moment/time in history, it could be somebody presenting an experience or a true story they witnessed orally, or . This can be seen with for example the memoir "A long way gone" By Ishmael beah About his life and experiences with war in his country. This would be a primary source because He witnessed practically everything in this memoir.

Secondary source

Secondary sources are sources that are not from first-hand witnesses or have bias in their source. for example: A biography that includes the author's opinion or bias. (I couldn't find an actual example so if you happen to know one please edit this)
