Black ASL page, and linked despite not yet having an article created. He is the founder of the Skinner School for the Colored Deaf, Dumb, and Blind.

Article Evaluation -- At present, no article exists for Louise B. Miller nor Miller v. Board of Education of District of Columbia. The case is mentioned in one sentence on the
Kendall Demonstration Elementary School , however, no details outline the circumstances leading up to and through the case are provided. This case preceded the Brown v. Board of Education case , which deemed racial segregation unconstitutional, by two years. The Miller v. Board of Education, was the first to challenge the precedent set by Plessy v. Ferguson, a case which permitted "separate but equal" facilities.

National Black Deaf Advocates page as one of six founders. Smith was a school counselor at the North Carolina School for the Deaf. He co-authored "Black and Deaf in AMerica: Are We That Different" with Ernest Hairston. Smith also advocated for mental health services for the deaf.
