The Noise Next Door are a five-man, improvised comedy troupe based in Brighton, England. Having performed together since 2005, the troupe now perform regularly on the London comedy circuit and at comedy clubs and theatres nationwide.

History

Members of the company performed together in various improvised troupes at The University of Kent until they formed The Noise Next Door professionally in 2007. They immediately began performing on the London comedy circuit and quickly built up steam as a quality act, being put on bills alongside well established comedians such as Ed Byrne and Harry Hill. In April 2008, The Noise Next Door became the first English improv troupe to attend the FRACAS! Improv Festival at The University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. [2]

In May 2008 the company made their debut festival appearance at The Brighton Fringe Festival, selling out shows at The Joogleberry Playhouse. [3]

The Noise Next Door made their Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut in August 2008 with The Improphecy Chronicles, selling out over half of their shows and receiving multiple 4* reviews.

As of December 2008, The Noise Next Door began running their own self titled comedy night in Brighton, which runs the last Wednesday of every month. [4]
