Bradley Stephen Weber (born 1982) is a drummer and an animator, musician and recording artist under stage names Pick a Piper and Caribou.
Weber was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. His early life was spent in the Province of Ontario's Golden Horseshoe region, first in Waterloo and later in Toronto. Weber attended Rockway Mennonite Collegiate and later studied Film at the Mohawk College. He then moved to the Toronto where he worked for CBC in network presentation. Weber the son of Ross Weber & Carol Weber, has two brothers Nic Weber and Ben Weber. His grandfather was the volleyball star Alson Weber. Weber currently resides in Toronto.
Weber previously recorded under the stage name Winter Equinox, but currently records under the stage name Pick a Piper. He is best known for his work as the touring drummer of Caribou. Weber began touring with Caribou when the 2007 album Andorra was released. [1]
Weber has performed as the drummer for Caribou in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia in more than 30 countries. [2] His drumming has been said to give Caribou's music "music its chaotic power and restless spirit." [3]
Under the stage name Pick a Piper, Weber play Daniel Roberts, Angus Fraser, and Clint Scrivner. Pick a Piper has toured eastern Canada and played the Canadian Music Week in Toronto in 2011. [4]
Weber studied Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe College. [5] He is endorsed by C&C Drum Company.
