Msitar is the user name for Meghan Sitar. I'm a former academic librarian who did programmatic work with Wikipedia in classrooms at the University of Michigan Library, Cornell University, and University of Texas at Austin, where I hosted editing meet-ups in Perry–Castañeda Library.

I love helping with local edit-a-thons in southeast Michigan. Most recently I have contributed to our Ann Arbor Art and Feminism Wikipedia Editathons, an Ada Lovelace Day Edit-a-thon at the University of Michigan focused on improving content related to women in STEM, and a Detroit '67 Edit-a-thon at the Detroit Institute of Arts. While I'm no longer librarian-ing, I'm still trying to contribute to improving Wikipedia and would be happy to support community events in the future.
