I just read
this article (from 2015) about a probably fake statement (involving
Henry David Thoreau and
neckbeards) making the rounds on the internet. Fortunately, as mentioned in that article, you had already spotted and
removed it from the Wikipedia article the year before, after diligently checking the sources. Thanks for defending Wikipedia's reliability!

I see that the first of the AFD's I recently created has been closed as Keep. I'd like to award you with this barnstar as a gesture of my appreciation for your substantial participation in the AFD's.
These were the first AFDs I started, and discussing them with you was certainly an educational experience. I especially appreciate that you took the time to respond to me in detail, as I was a new user, when you could have just as easily dismissed my opinion.

The Chinese Barnstar
Thank you so much for your work on China and Chinese-related articles, it's an inspiration to me.
... that "Spotlight", the best-selling digital single in Chinese music history, saw its
Douban rating drop from 10.0 to 3.2 less than two days after its release?
... that The Scout Mindset, a book about being able to change one's mind, took five years to be published partly because author
Julia Galef changed her mind about what to write?
... that according to legend, the Third Month Fair was originally held on the Moon?
