UMAR IDRIS Founder/Chairman The 21st Century Entrepreneurs Hub.

I am Umar Idris, a Social Entrepreneur and a Youth Activist. I am the Founder/Chairman of The 21st Century Entrepreneurs Hub. A leading Platform that Inspires, Empower and promote Young Entrepreneurs by connecting them with Opportunities, Resources and Building their Capacities to leverage Digital Skills to Develop and Position their Enterprises. My goal is to contribute in building the next Generation of Young Entrepreneurs and reducing the Unemployment rate particularly in North Western Nigeria. Through Entrepreneurship. I have trained and mentored over 1000 youth in different fields of entrepreneurship. I am also a UN Volunteer serving as the Spotlight Initiative Program Support Officer with UNFPA Nigeria. As a GBV Specialist I support the day-to-day planning and management of programs and activities under the spotlight Initiative, aimed at providing an environment where all women and girls, Particularly the most Vulnerable, live a life free from Violence and Harmful Traditional practices through a comprehensive approach at the state and community levels. my major focus is on prevention efforts and particularly addressing the root causes of gender-based violence and harmful practices against women and girls (especially child marriage and FGM); and ensuring access to inclusive, timely, and quality services for victims and survivors of violence in Sokoto State.
