Morris was born and raised in Danville Virginia. He attended Dan River High School, from which he is a graduate. In his Junior year, Morris enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Chaplain's Assistant. He was assigned to the 320th Combat Support Hospital (CSH), based in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he served as the unit's Senior Chaplain Assistant. Morris attended both, Basic Training & AIT at Fort Jackson in South Carolina in 2005.
In 2008, Morris was deployed to Iraq with the 345th CSH, where he served as the Senior Chaplain Assistant for Aplha and Charlie Company at Al Asad Airbase & Mosul, respectively. In 2009, Morris returned from Iraq & finished his military career with the 320th CSH in Greensboro. On October 25, 2012, Morris was Honorably discharged from the Army.
On July 28, 2013, Morris suffered a personal loss with the death of his grandfather. He wasn't as close with him as he wanted to be & the death affected him more than he expected & more than he's willing to discuss. Six months & one day later, the Morris family suffered another tragic loss with the death of his Grandmother, with whom he was very close. On the night of his grandother's funeral, Morris began drinking heavily, hoping to escape the pain. It didn't work. At all. Morris then engaged in a lifestyle that was completely outside his personal character; one he won't talk about until he publishes his autobiography. In short, Morris didn't really care anymore whether he lived or died.
While he had the support of his friends Daniel Hutchinson, Tim McBride, and Jason Hogancamp, it wasn't until August 2014 that his life began to turn around. It was in August that he met his wife, Michelle. Without realizing it, she had reignited the fire of life inside him that was thought extinguished. The two dated for nearly four months before getting engaged. On February 1st 2015, the couple discovered that Michelle was pregnant. On March 13th, the couple was married in a small, private ceremony with family. The couple also had a larger ceremony on July 18, 2015 for friends & extended family. The couple is expecting the birth of a baby girl in September, 2015. Morris also claims a son, though there is no biological relation or any legal guardianship. In 2000, he took it upon himself to be the father figure to the son of one of his friends. The bond between them is unbreakable.
None yet.
In July of 2014, Morris (working under the ring name "The Terrorist") injured his left shoulder & right knee in a match against Ouga Bouga in Yanceyville, NC. Ouga Bouga executed the move “Sister Abigail” on Morris, injuring his shoulder & knee. Morris continued to compete in matches that year, despite his injuries & suffering constant pain. As a result of the knee injury, it was discovered that Morris had Arthritis in his right knee.
