Fashion Design consists of the production of clothing through manufacturing in a way to apply design aspects, construction and fit current trends and aesthetics as throughout the years various fashions have evolved and changed to make new or different items in demand.

Fast Fashion

Fast fashion has become more popular within the most years, this is because with the focus on rapid production of products at a high volume manufactured trendy pieces for cheap consumption. [1] Some popular brands with products manufactured as fast fashion products are Zara, H&M, Shein, FashionNova and many more with products that are made to not last. The places where these products are manufactured to not last as the fabrics are made from synthetic fibres and do not decay when in landfills. [2] The types of clothing items that fit into the category of fast fashion is deemed unsustainable for the environment as the production of the product does not apply to the whole life-cycle of the item. [3]
