Shawn D. Moon
Shawn Moon is an American author, executive, and entrepreneur.
Personal Life
Shawn D. Moon was born on March 10, 1967 in Provo, Utah. He grew up in Orem, UT before serving an LDS mission to Philadelphia, PA. He later attended Brigham Young University where he earned a degree in English Literature. He and his wife Michele have four kids and reside in Lindon, UT.
Book
In 2009, Mr. Moon's first book On Your Own: A Young Adults Guide to Making Smart Decisions was published. The book provides guidance and advice to LDS young single adults.
Career
Shawn Moon began his career with Covey Leadership Center in the late 80's. In the early 1990's, he relocated to the Washington D.C. area where he was responsible for the development of the Eastern Region and Federal Programs divisions. Shawn continued to work for Covey after a 1998 merger with Franklin Quest, becoming FranklinCovey. Shawn also worked with the Mellon Financial Corporation, where he oversaw their business development of Human Resources Outsourcing offering. He also served as the president of Ideal Financial Solutions. He has now been with FranklinCovey for over 20 years, and currently serves the Executive Vice President.
