International Organization of Lace, Inc (IOLI) is a non-profit organization that provides information, support, and education on topics of lace and lacemaking [1].

Founded in 1954, the group's original name was "Old Lacers" and broadened to "National Old Lacers" in 1959. In 1970, the name changed once again to reflect the world-wide membership, as "International Old Lacers". The current name dates from 2012.

IOLI has members in 24 countries, and all types of lace are created and studied by members.

Activities that support the study and making of lace include an annual convention and regular lectures on topics relevant to the history, techniques, styles, use, and artistry of lace. IOLI has a dedicated library of lace-related books that may be rare or out-of-print that are available to members for research and education. Local Charter Chapters are organized to allow regional members to meet and to organize community projects for educational opportunities and demonstrations, including but not limited to craft fairs and historical events.
