OK, just getting started with my own page here. 

My New Year's resolution is to contribute more to Wikipedia this year beyond a few minor comments and corrections here and there.

 I can't imagine how I could possibly give back 

to this site in anything like equal measure to what what I have gained in knowledge and pleasure, but hopefully I can make some meaningful contribution.
