Maud Durlin Sullivan (1872 - December 28, 1943) was an American librarian and patron of the arts. She is known for her leadership role in the El Paso Public Library (EPPL).

Biography

Sullivan was born in 1872 in Ripon, Wisconsin. [1] Later her family moved to Madison, Wisconsin where her father worked as a rector in the Episcopal church. [1] Sullivan went to Kemper Hall and then studied the arts at the Pratt Institute. [1]

In 1912, Sullivan resigned from EPPL to move to the Mogollon Mountains with her new husband, John Kevin Sullivan. [2] Sullivan's husband was a mining engineer. [2]
