Platform Robotica, also known as Project Robotica [1] or Robotica, is a system of software robots, based on web services. Robot software is programmed to extract data from the World Wide Web, to export and download it to a certain website.
Platform Robotica is developed to replace humans in monitoring and searching virtual information. It uses contemporary technology to explore torrent of databases for websites’ owners’ purposes. Platform Robotica makes possible communication between servers via HTTP and HTTPS protocols. Websites’ owners can exchange databases and observe the process on their websites via WEB.
Robots of Platform Robotica are designed in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and they can be called by Jquery and Ajax. The programming technology is MVC (Model View Controller). The technical names of the robots are - crawlers, scrappers and webbots or just robots.
A system of robots is set on an online transitional website which is represented as a server. Software robots extract and download information in several CMS and data formats – XML; CSV; SQL.

In order Platform Robotica to work properly the communication file ( API) must be installed on the user’s website. Every robot has documentation and instructions which must be followed.
