Maria Joana Chiappetta is a Brazilian actress born in Rio de Janiero on July 27, 1986. She has appeared in a number of television series, both in Portuguese and in English.

Chiappetta (who often is listed simply as "Maria Joana") first appeared in the Brazilian telenovela (soap opera) Araguaia (2010),reference: Gshow (27 de outubro de 2010).
