Biography [1]

Early history

Before Cuntless started, the band was called Take Away and played Post-Hardcore in combination with Hardcore Punk. They mostly played covers but wrote their own songs too. Their song 'Message To The Government' was avaible on their MySpace and YouTube-channel. After a few months, they changed the name This pages were deleted after the split.

Through The Choas

The bandname Cuntless was a joke in the group of friends the former members were. The former bass player told them to name the band Cultless, and someone said Cuntless would be a better name. People wouldn't forget it and it was funny. Since that day, the bandname Cuntless existed.

Cuntless was founded when the vocalist of Take Away, Michaël Vanderschelde, was in search of another band. He meeted Louis Debuf, who told him to continue with the band. Together they went in search of other bandmembers. Soon they found another person who played bass. His name was Patrick Clessens and he played in several other bands. Another guitarplayer (Sam Lambert) & drummer (Arvid Decoster) was found too and the line-up was complete. Together they started working on new songs but after 9 months, a split was in sight. Patrick, Sam & Arvid decided to go their own way and go and play in other bands.

Louis & Michaël started to look for bandmembers again.

While Louis & Michaël started looking for other members, a bass player named Nick Moreau said he would like to join on the team. A new guitar player, Miguel Meesscheart, was found too along with a new drummer, Laurens Bultot. Laurens left the band after a month and instead of looking for a new drummer, Michaël said he could combine drums & vocals. After finishing the first two songs, the band agreed and their line up was complete again. With a new manager, a new logo and a more professional way of working, they are busy writing new songs.

Their style of playing can be compared to Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, All That Remains, etc. On the site of Spirit of Metal, the vocalist announced that they will release a full lenght CD in December 2010.
