Mark Peter Davis (born March 28, 1979) is a New York-based serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, blogger, community organizer and author.

MPD is the Founder and Managing Partner of Interplay an incubator and investment firm. Through Interplay, he has incubated numerous firms, including Founder Shield, DevSpark, Nomad Financial, Truman James, TwentyPine and Venwise. He has invested in numerous companies including Coinbase, Medialets, ModernMeadow, MakeSpace, SailThru and Warby Parker.

MPD authored The Fundraising Rules, a handbook designed to help entrepreneurs navigate the fundraising process. He also actively blogs at mpd.me.

In 2006, MPD founded the Columbia Venture Community, a 3,000+ member entrepreneur community for students, alumni and employees of Columbia University.

Mark also serves as a mentor at numerous startup accelerators and has been listed as one of the "100 Most Influential Digital New Yorkers" by Business Insider.

He completed his B.A. at Duke University and M.B.A. at Columbia Business School where he was the President of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Club and an InSITE Fellow.
