Palaiochori ( Greek: Παλαιοχώρι, old form Palaiochorion, Παλαιοχώριον) is a village on the island of Lesbos, North Aegean, Greece. It is situated on a mountainside surrounded by olive trees, 9 km NW from the town of Plomari. The church of the village 'Evangelistria' was built in 1864 and is dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. Palaiochori is an agricultural village that produces olive oil and has its own olive press. North of the village is the small settlement of Rachidi, and to its west is the abandoned village of Kournela. The beach of Melinda is located 3 km south of the village.
