The Tamanthi Dam is a multi-use hydroelectric power, flood control and irrigation project planned to be built on the Chindwin river that flows through the heart of an area inhabited by the Kuki people in Western Sagaing Division of Burma. The dam site is at Leivomjang, a Kuki village between Tamanthi and Homalin. [2]
